Where We Teach: One Year In The Virtual Classroom

Starting this week, teachers and child care providers are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.

This hour, we talk with three ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø teachers and hear about what this past year has looked like for them and their students.

Teachers were already stretched thin before the COVID-19 pandemic, and now they are being pushed to their limits. Not only are they faced with teaching during the pandemic, but teachers are also responding to history in real time.

GUESTS:

  • Dr. David Bosso - Social studies teacher at Berlin High School; 2012 ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø teacher of the year

  • Claudia Tenaglia - a middle school Social Studies teacher with the Dwight Bellizzi School in Hartford, CT

  • Sheree Baldwin Muhammad - a teacher at New Beginnings Family Academy in Bridgeport, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø

Lucy leads ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø's strategies to deeply connect and build collaborations with community-focused organizations across the state.
Tess is a senior producer for ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø news-talk show Where We Live. She enjoys hiking ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø's many trails and little peaks, knitting, gardening and writing in her seven journals.
