Older, Wiser, And Out Of The Closet

Coming out as gay can be difficult — even traumatizing — for young people. But what is coming out like for older men and women, some who were once married to heterosexual spouses and who have children?

We hear Dr. Olson’s personal story and we discuss the psychology behind individuals who admit they are gay halfway through adulthood.

Two ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø men join us in studio to share when they discovered their sexual identity as adults and how they’ve navigated divorce and family relationships. Later on we add a female perspective to the conversation, and find out what similarities and differences exist between men and women who identify as gay after living straight.

Does this describe you or someone in your family?
