Identity Politics: Friend Or Foe?

Former Trump official Steve Bannon was Monday, after David Remnick, editor of The New Yorker, first invited him for a "serious" and "combative" conversation in which Remnick promised to pose "difficult" questions to Bannon. 

The invitation led to mass Twitter protest from readers, staff members and other invitees to the event who said they would not attend if Bannon remained on the schedule. 

Following this thread: Two books were reviewed in this weekend's that warn against the identity politics that is being cultivated and encouraged on college campuses today. They argue it's feeding our tribal urges at the expense of teaching students to confront the people with whom they disagree. 

In that spirit: Jordan Peterson, a controversial and sudden YouTube star and Canadian psychologist, who is causing to many on the left, joins Colin for a sometimes testy conversation about identity.
